What will America look like – and act like – with a thrice married, public adulterer who wields lawsuits willy nilly sitting in the White House?
Tuesday night, I shared this on Facebook:
I read posts from friends struggling with what to tell their kids. It breaks my heart.
I read posts from friends who are ‘other’ – and it breaks my heart.
I read stories with exit polls that show those who claim to be Christian voted for a divorcee who publicly committed adultery, who sows hate – and I don’t understand.
The picture I’ve pieced together from pre-election rallies to after-election reports does little to assuage those fears or move me towards understanding.
The seeds of hate and misogyny were sown before Trump’s candidacy but were nurtured, fertilized and watered this past year. No weeding has been done.

The violence and taunts are not new.
But they appear more widespread and committed by children.
