Looking for something to read? Book recommendations galore!

I was looking for something to read, so I asked on Facebook. My genre request: science fiction / speculative fiction / mystery. But no vampires, unicorns or heavy dystopian books, because I had a migraine. However, there is horror, darkness, and fantasy in this list. As well as some books that don’t fit these three genres.

Update!
Use this reading list to help you play Summer Book Bingo, a joint effort of Seattle Arts & Lectures and Seattle Public Library. Dates: May 23 through Labor Day; entries must be received by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016. And you can tweet a picture of your completed entry (#BookBingoNW2016 @SeaArtsLectures @SPLBuzz)!

Because finding old FB posts is next to impossible, here are the recommendations, and I added some of my own to the thread.

(Links to Amazon; many are available on Overdrive from your library.)
