Feature Request: Twitter Search

Updated: It started with a tweet. Oh, the faith of one’s students!

@JasonSpector Yes, I bet @kegill knows. Kathy?  http://twitter.com/emahlee/status/24139604628

Emily Muses About Twitter Search

I jokingly replied that “The short answer is it’s in your home page tweetstream.”

And then I checked.

It didn’t take long for me to hit the proverbial (or virtual) brick wall:

Dear @Twitter: Please add a filter to http://search.twitter.com/advanced that allows me to search tweets only from accts I follow. #request

And there followed a short flurry of “favorites” and “seconded” tweets. All from women. (I’m not sure what that means.)

So … I’m turning that tweeted request into something a little more SEO friendly and detailed, so that we can politely inundate Twitter with this simple request!
