Firefox just forced version 3 on me …. because FF 2.x crashed. (I had already downloaded the update.) When I got the “do you want to resume a session” question, the answer was obviously “yes.” I selected “crashed session” and FF started loading. Then there was another session manager window. I picked “restore” again. And another! I picked “restore” again. And yet another!
At this point, I scratched my head …. WTH? So I kept moving the popup, only to find another below it. There were another 13 (thirteen!) “restore” windows waiting. I canceled each of them.
UPDATE: At least four windows have what appears to be all of the open tabs in the crashed session. Oy! And even though I’m logged in to WordPress.com, I don’t have “edit” links on blog posts. Grrr.
Ditto Iterasi and LaterLoop. I wanna go BACK, right now. This is not ready for PrimeTime. See more details and screenshots.
On a positive note, it felt like FF loaded my 15 open windows faster than it ever has before. Unfotunately, that honeymoon of speed ended almost immediately.
