Amazon to sell short stories

According to the WSJ Online, Amazon has started selling short stories for $0.49. The service, Amazon Shorts, launched with 59 authors. Amazon has been experimenting with digital content, starting with the December 2004 "movies" that featured Amazon products. A highlight was the Norah Jones and Bob Dylan concert broadcast during the company’s 10-year anniversary celebration. There are other places to read short fiction online. For example, UK-based east of the web focuses on short fiction and Read Print provides free short and full length fiction, as well as poetry.
