Dell’s new 15GB jukebox and music service debuted Tuesday, while Lexar joined the MP3 player market.
Dell’s service is being offered through Music Match; songs are available in either MP3 or WMA formats. Apple’s iTunes for Windows provides songs in the MPEG4 AAC (advanced audio coding) format.
While the Dell device is measured in GBs, the Lexar is measured in MBs. Lexar’s MP3 player is being positioned as a data storage device first, player second.
