Effective 1 October, Comcast customers will be limited to 250GB of traffic month, according to ReporterNews. According to Comcast, this is equivalent to 125 standard-definition movies.

The announcement, made last Thursday, did not include a penalty for overage.

Other ISPs have less generous limits. Time-Warner is testing limits of 5 GB to 40 GB; Cox Communication limits vary from 5-75GB; and Frontier Communication is limiting its customers to 5GB per month.
